Setup

Connect Google Calendar in four steps

  1. Choose Google Calendar

    Open the Tools connector and pick Google Calendar from the Productivity apps.

  2. Sign in with Google

    Approve access with your Google account. You can revoke it from your Google settings at any time.

  3. Pick the action and calendar

    Availability, read, create, update or cancel, plus the data permission you are comfortable with.

  4. Add it to your agent

    Tick the new tool in your agent’s Connections step and mention it in the instructions.

Should I use Google Calendar or Casatel Calendar?

If your team already manages appointments in Google Calendar, connect it. If you are starting fresh or want booking rules like gaps, notice time and times-per-answer, the built-in Casatel Calendar is made for that and needs no sign-in. Compare both.

Can the agent see my private meetings?

The agent only works with what its tool allows. An availability tool looks at free and busy times; a read tool sees events in the calendar you connect. Use a dedicated bookings calendar if you want to keep everything else out of reach.

Is signing in with Google safe?

Yes. The connection uses Google’s standard sign-in (OAuth): we never see your Google password, and you can remove access from your Google account whenever you like.
